Applegate Trail 08: Tyler Creek Road

This marker is located approximately 1.5 miles up from where Tyler Creek Road starts at Emigrant Creek Road, between the road and the creek.  A short distance below this marker the emigrants either had to side hill or go directly down the creek.  Due to floods, scouring out and the new road, it is very difficult today to determine their exact route.  However, the modern traveler can get the feel of the terrain and appreciate the difficulties of the emigrants by traveling the Tyler Creek Road.
