From Medford, drive south on Highway 99, and turn right at Lowry Lane into the Harry & David parking lot. The address is 2500 South Pacific Highway. Turn right again and drive (parallel with the railroad tracks) to the end of the short road, parking before the small shed. Walk around the shed to find the small grove of Comice Pear trees.
According to the sign, these few Comice pear trees were part of an original planting in Bear Creek Orchards Block 1A. Harry and David became internationally know in 1932 for their gift boxes of pears. During the Great Depression Harry & David helped the local economy
