Golden Spike Marker

It is located on the SE corner of A Street and 5th Street in Ashland. It may be difficult to see since it is located close to the ground and is surrounded by plants that may obscure it if not trimmed regularly.

The marker must have been moved in the past, since it says the spike was driven just to the south of the marker, where it was clearly driven to the north of the marker.
