Applegate Trail 10: Songer Gap
Directions
The Songer Gap marker is 0.35 of a mile southwesterly from the entrance to Songer wayside directly across Highway 66 from the Old Greensprings Highway that goes to a boat ramp on Emigrant Lake. It is on the south side of the road where the old road takes off in the gap. It marks three roads which were in use in this gap from 1846-69, 1869-74 and 1874-1919, when Highway 66 was started.
